Simple Green Salad with Green Goddess Dressing, Part of a Deconstructed BLTA Lunch
If you thought yesterday's Bacon and Avocado Sandwich with Garlic Aioli was easy, you are in for a real treat! This simple salad takes the L (and some more of the A because, why not?) from our Deconstructed BLTA Lunch. It uses the Green Goddess Dressing I posted awhile ago and adds some fresh vegetables to make a delicious salad! Stay tuned tomorrow for my personal favorite recipe from this collection, Cream of Heirloom Tomato Soup.
Simple Green Salad
with Green Goddess Dressing
1 small head of green leaf lettuce, washed and torn into bite size pieces
1/2 a red onion, sliced thinly
2 avocados, cut into chunks
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Combine lettuce, red onion, and avocado into a salad bowl. Dress with desired amount of Green Goddess Dressing and finish with freshly ground black pepper and salt to taste. Enjoy!
