Last Saturday we had a little Halloween party for our friends with children around Lucia's age. I wanted it to be a casual and fun way for the adults to get together and let the kids play and entertain themselves in hopes we could get some time to talk. I set up a little station with sugar cookies, icing, and festive sprinkles for the kids (and adults) to decorate. I also included some brown boxes, stickers and baker's twine to take home the creations. I put kraft paper down on one side of our kitchen table so that the cookie decorating cleanup could be semi-contained (it ended up being a great idea!). On the other side of the table I put all of our appetizers.
I didn't take a lot of pictures of the actual party because I feel like that interferes with the flow but here are a few peeks at what we did! I will post recipes and tips during the rest of this week.
