Easter Table Setting
Last night, my siblings had Easter dinner with Alex, Lucia and me. My brother, my sister, and her husband came up to Seattle this past weekend from Los Angeles to spend the week with us. We have a busy next couple of days ahead of us so we thought last night would be the best night to celebrate. Here was our table setting for your Easter inspiration! I was able to use a lot of wedding gifts which makes me so happy. I love pulling out pieces and thinking of the sweet people who showered us with such wonderful gifts when we got married almost 3 years ago!
I set the table with a navy blue gingham table runner from Williams-Sonoma. The runner really takes the table up a notch but keeps it simpler than a full tablecloth. Each plate had a blue or slate blue linen napkin.
This little bunny sat in the center on a small pillar surrounded with moss. I filled little cream and white pitchers with various spring flowers (baby's breath, mums, hydrangeas, roses). I stuck to light greens, whites and yellows to keep the palate simple.
I put light yellow taper candles in wooden candlesticks and cream votives in small glasses to add more interest to the table.
I used our wedding china (Lennox Federal Platnium) and silverware with ivory Languiole steak knives. Our bee wine and water glasses, and carafe are from the French company, La Rochere (also wedding gifts!)
I hard boiled some eggs and wrote each guest's name on them in a grey Le Pen and put them in little white egg cups to serve as place cards.
Even Lucia had a special Peter Rabbit place setting from Pottery Barn Kids!
I hope you have enjoyed our table setting and that you found some inspiration for your Easter table!
