Our Christmas Holiday
Our Christmas holiday flew by fast! Can you believe it was almost 2 months ago? I really can't.
Over the month of December, we spent a lot of time with our family and friends while getting into the holiday spirit. Here is a look back at a few of the highlights
We built gingerbread houses with cousins at an auntie's house
I focused on the decorating
Lucia focused on the tasting
Playing pool with our favorite cousin
Trying to keep up with the big ones
My mom and Alex enjoying festive cocktails at our house
Nonni and Lucia ready for baking
Decorating cookies for Santa
Lucia had her own tray and little bowls of decorations
She was really able to be creative
When she dumped the whole bowl of green sprinkles on one cookie, it was all contained on the trays. I highly recommend this method if you have a toddler. It allows them to be part of the fun without you having to control their mess and it saves you precious cleaning time
Three generations of cookie decorators, each with her own style
One last treat after bath time, before bed
We welcomed our son, George, on December 23rd
Lucia has been a wonderful big sister since day one
Santa was good to us this year!
I think he enjoyed the cookies and milk we left him...
But the reindeer made a mess with the carrots!
I hope everyone had a peaceful holiday season. I'll be blogging more now that George is a little older and takes longer naps. It's good to be back!
